Belated Valentine….
Hello Darlings,
Saint Valentine’s Day, although I do not love it nor hate it, I think that it is one day when you’re totally expected to be overtly cheesy. I do not like the idea of expecting grand romantic gestures from your sweetheart because that is what the rest of the world is doing. However, I do think that Valentine’s Day is awesome, as it presents an opportunity for couples to spend that extra time together and do something that is more “special”.

Romance…sure! But I still prefer the idea of fun over the idea of total lovey-dovey, overly-cheesy romance...
Liv by Au Lit: Media and Bloggers Soirée
Hello Darling,
The other night I attended Liv's private soirée for bloggers, stylist and media. Co-organized by Liv by Au Lit and the talented blogger + illustrator Danielle of Final Fashion. It was quite an interesting experience, considering this was my first blog related party

I am a little shy...I must admit. I was slightly intimidated at first but it was fun. *blush blush*
From Las Vegas With Love, part 2…
Hello Darlings,
This is the last part of my Las Vegas posts!
In the place of sunshine, hotness and dryness... the only thing that is left for a girl to do is stock up on sunscreen, purchase a floppy hat, consume ridiculous amounts of water and most importantly enjoy the beautiful weather

Lounging by the pool was probably the best way to beat the heat...and of course, finally have a chance to wear my new Brette Sandler silk cover up.

I am wearing: Alexander Wang Chiffon Dress; Juicy Couture Flats;Coach Wristlet;Luc Kieffer Ring

- Heels are not worth wearing if you're going to cripple your feet!
- Wearing a floppy hat is a smart choice, not only to shield your face from the harmful rays but also to avoid heat stroke!

I am wearing: Maggie Ward Dress; Juicy Couture Flat; Gustto Cokera Purse; A.V. Max Cuff; Floppy Hat from a random store.
To top of almost every outfit I wore my floppy hat, religiously. I get heat strokes within minutes of being out in the hot weather. I never thought that I could pull it off or feel comfortable wearing it, but I fell in love. I know that fedora is a hat of the moment, but it made me feel like a teenage boy and really did not suit my style. Soooooo many people make it look a-m-a-z-i-n-g, I just felt awkward unfortunately. In comparison to the fedora, the floppy hat made me feel like a lady
I wish you all a stunning day!!!

Romeo and Juliet + Dinner Party Fun…
Hello Darlings,
Today, was yet another dinner party at a restaurant followed by Romeo and Juliet Ballet. As for those of you living it Toronto, I would suggest that you get your tickets... the performance is absolutely incredible. Very visual and emotionally packed - you won't be able to take your eyes of the stage. I am still overwhelmed with excitement as to how wonderful it was
As for my outfit, well I went for simple...with a touch of sparkle

Tomorrows plan is to spend sometime in Art Gallery of Ontario for my art critique assignment...I am really excited to go, because the gallery was just re-do my Frank Gehry- so I can't wait to see that he did with it. I will try to take some pictures .
I wish you all a lovely and fun weekend

Malanka … :)
Hello Darlings,
Well, it has been an eventful and fun month... I couldn't have asked for more, expect the black tie event that I attended on Saturday. Which was amazing ...
The event is a yearly tradition within the Ukrainian community...it is also our New Years. This year was my third year attending it.... and it was truly an amazing way to finish an amazing holiday season. The event is known as Malanka.
For my first Malanka I wore an amazing BCBG Max Azria dress....( My blonde days)
As for the next year, I decided to wear a short, simple dress from Robert Rodriguez....
The Alexander Wang dress that I bought back in October was specifically for this event...I paired it with my patent leather Ruthie Davis Swarovski encrusted shoes....
...and to bring it all together with an adorable patent leather Coach wristlet courtesy of my parents.
I am wearing:
Alexander Wang Dress
Ruthie Davis Swarovski encrusted patent leather heels
Coach patent leather wristlet
A.V.MAX studded cuff
Diamond stud
I kept the jewelry to a minimum.... only a studded cuff and diamond studs. As for my hair... I got it done in a salon, but I wish I didn't. Every year, I say the same thing.... but always end up paying $70 to get my hair curled almost in the same way that I always wear it naturally, but this time I added a braid which looked like a headband but it was too small to see ....I was kind of disappointed. As for make up I kept it to a minimal ..... trying to stay away from the usual evening make up that people tend to wear to such events.....
I wish you all a beautiful day!!!

” Shoe whore” … :S
But that changed when I came across a beautiful pair of Davis by Ruthie Davis Mary Jane's. Ruthie Davis designs hold technological innovation, architectural precision, and a sleek aesthetic sensibility - in one word, they are WORKS OF ART that come with quite a price tag ( cost between $600-800). I could not resist the shoes or a fact that they were on sale. Although they are in a classic Mary Jane style, they do come with a twist that I was craving. The shoes are smalto pearlized patent leather with a 4.5" architectural heel that is accented with Swarovski crystals and contains a chrome metal insert. I love the shoes so much and still obsess about them...
