Shopping with purpose and staying on “trend”…
Hello Darlings,
Just a quick reminder, I am hosting a Calvin Klein Beauty Perfume Giveaway...if you would like to participate be sure to check it out. Thank you!

Last week as I was browsing through yet another store to find those "perfect" ( perfection is such an exhausting idea) items, I came to realize that there's absolutely "nothing" to chose from. As exaggerated as this might sound I did feel quite hopeless. Not only were the stores full of merchandise than sparked zero excitement in me but I was desperate to add a few classic pieces. First, I was on a mission to find a cashmere sweater and a silk blouse—which I did. Now, I am searching for a camel coat—mission in progress. When it comes to shopping, I do it often and I do it with high expectations...
Alone Time…
Hello Darlings,
In the midst of academic chaos, it is always wonderful to find the time to relax and unwind. Regardless of how much I adore my field of study, it does get overwhelming and frustrating at times. I am sure that every single one of us has been or is in such a situation.I don't have much time on my hands and every day seems to be short on hours, so when it comes to down time I prefer to spend it at home with my family or in the company of my closest friends. It is always wonderful to have a solid support system and those that genuinely care.

However, there are times when one just wants to be alone, in such cases there are a few places/activities that I find myself doing. Since I've received quite a few requests for my favorite "alone-time" activities, I've decided to share my favorite eight...
Sunday morning with TorontoVerve….
Hello Darlings,
I hope everyone had an incredible weekend! My weekend was filled with fun company and new experiences. Between passing my drivers G test, shopping for an awesome Moschino umbrella and a Nike weighted jump rope (for cardio), seeing Kick-Ass, getting gelato and macaroons, attending Ukrainian semi-formal, girl talk, brunch at Distillery District and having the opportunity to meet the talented Nigel of TorontoVerve.... I would have to say my weekend was action packed.

Hello Darlings,
I am FREE AT LAST!!! YAY! Done my exams and just taking it easy for the next two or three weeks and then only time will tell! I am not the one who handles doing nothing very well, I need something do to...maybe I'm a stress-addict
But, that is a whole different topic to explore at another time as for today I just wanted to share a quick outfit!
By the way, I must thank everyone for taking the time to tell me a little about yourselves. It is always a pleasure to get to know a little about you darlings
So thank you!
Spring is on my mind…
Hello Darlings
As I am sitting here, trying to study for my French midterm and finish my architecture analysis, the sunlight is flooding my room. I can’t believe that spring is just around the corner, lectures are almost done, exams are a month away, and Toronto fashion week is in couple of weeks, and my closet needs a complete overhaul. So much to do and so much to see, it is overwhelming but exciting at the same time.
Speaking of closets, I’ve received quite a few requests for a vlog/closet video and although I am intimidated by the idea, I’ve decided to give it a try. When I have a spare minute, I will create a video of my closet and share with you some of my favorite spring items. So that is coming up in a little bit! I am pretty shy in person and this is a huge step for me.. *blush blush*
Cashmere….
Hello Darlings,
I completely forgot to share with you these pictures from my Niagara Falls Valentine’s getaway. The beauty of the falls is indescribably beautiful especially during the winter, but the weather around it is beyond freezing. The weather was crazy cold, Andrew and I definitely focused on bundling up when outside. It was cashmere over-load all the way: P

School+Style=???
Hello Darlings,
Do fashion and education go hand in hand? Probably not, but they definitely could and should. Being a university student, I face this dilemma everyday when getting ready in the morning: how can one be stylish and still not be perceived as “trying too hard”? My personal style is more of a preppy meets I-am-not-sure. Actually, I can never really define what+what=Marta’s style. Let’s just say I like feeling pulled-together and neat. Some may call it “high maintenance,” but I disagree, as it takes me only 30 minutes to get ready! The point is most of the time I get “high maintenance” or “trying too hard” or “this is university, why even bother dressing up” looks. Does it annoy me? Sure! Would I ever downplay my love for dressing up? Of course not!”
