Underneath it all…
Hello Darlings,
After few hours of French and three shots of espresso ( I love espresso) and 25 pages of Vanity Fair... I ventured out for some fresh air and ended up at my favorite shopping mall. It was exactly 4:30 pm and the mall was still nearly empty... happy joy joy!!! I love shopping when everyone is busy...
Anyways, back to shopping....
I was then joined by my mommy for some innocent mother-daughter time while shopping. Honestly with sales like these it is impossible to avoid malls. All you see is SALE SALE SALE in windows of your favorite stores. After an hour or two... I found two of the most perfect bralets and an ideal sheer tee. Well, I can hardly call them finds... because I had my eye set on them for a while now
The SALE part sealed the deal!
I am wearing: Members Only Nylon Bomber; Club Monaco Semi-Sheer Top; J Brand Jeans; Bloch Patent Leather Ballerinas; Gustto Cokera Purse; Swarovski Heart Necklace ( a gift from Andrew); A.V. Max Cuff; Diamond Studs (a gift from parents); Ray Ban Wayfarers ( a gift from Andrew).
I've finally grown more comfortable with semi-sheer... and I am finally ready to debut my pretty bra collection. Honestly, with bras that they make today it is a crime to keep them all to yourself. A little peek here and there is what these beauties deserve.
I recommend D&G, they are exquisite. Pricey but when on sale they are impossible not to buy.Tasteful and simple, they are perfect for semi-sheer tops or just to keep a secret underneath it all. And most of all ladies, they are also very comfortable... none of that "lacy-discomfort".
Yummy...
Stella McCartney Lauren Whistling Bra; La Perla Lace and Silk Soft-Cup Bra; Dolce&Gabbana Leopard-print Balconette Bra.
Having a beautiful little secret underneath it all is a guilty pleasure of most women. My only problem is the price of these little pleasures.
Personally, I prefer to buy it on sale otherwise spending so much on so little is a bit of out my reach. However, it does make a perfect gift from the special someone... * Hint hint, nudge nudge to male readers* ( hehe)

Highlighter…
Hello Lovelies,

Well, my highlighter bright ballerinas have arrived and I am gaga head-over-heels in love with them. Typically for someone who avoids loud colors, this is quite a bold change. They are perfect...

I'm not sure why I've been obsessively buying ballerinas... maybe because after so many years spent dancing ballet, they feel natural to me. I love the way they make me feel - they remind me of my dancing years and in that moment I feel like a little girl wanting to be a ballerina all over again. All I need is a tutu and I'm ready for the Swam Lake, lol.

To some flats ruin the outfit, to others they are just dull, but to me they are irresistibly adorable and chic. I love wearing them during the warmer seasons, usually instead of sandals.

As for today's outfit that I wore to dinner with Andrew...
Ooh, I also paid a visit to my hairdresser for my monthly trim and some lowlights...I added a bit of golden tone but nothing too drastic. I am totally paranoid not to ruin my hair by coloring it, so I stay away. Today I decided to wear it naturally, which is wavy and big, lol. Sometimes it is so difficult trying to decide to wavy or straight.
Also, I want to mention a few awesome products that I've been using and totally loving.
♥ Not only does it contain SPF but it prevents my face from getting oily throughout the day.
♥ Before this I used Smashbox or Chanel Primer, but I love this soooo much more and it is much cheaper.
♥ I am not a big fan of MAC but I really do love this product.
♥Perfect for the summer time.
♥Not as oily as the Ultra Facial Moisturizer, but still very moisturizing.
♥Worth a try if your skin is more oily in the summer.
I would like to send out a huge thanks to everyone. I apologize for taking so long to respond,I am bombarded with exams. I am trying to post regularly and promise to get back to each and everyone as soon as I can.
I wish you all a beautiful day!!!!

My Late Valentine ….
Happy Belated Valentines ...
As I've mentioned before, I am totally obsessed with Giambattista Valli and drew my inspiration from his spring collection for my V-day outfit. I wanted something pretty, edgy, romantic and fun - which of course meant that I had to turn to my trusty Alexander Wang dress.
Romancing the Pink

Tip: A pair of seductive tights can make any boring dress look fabulous. Also, I love wearing pretty tights every day. They are a fun and easy way to bring life back to your cold weather wardrobe. My Tights - check out this site, they have the best variety of tights. As for Canadians, I suggest Legs Beautiful or Winners for awesome selection.

I am wearing:
Alexander Wang Dress
Mackage Leather Jacket
Joe Boxer Tights
Coach Patent Leather Wristlet
Swarovski Necklace and Bracelet

P.S.I just picked up a pair of shoes that I've been dying to get but could not justify spending $300 on. So I finally picked them up for 65 % off and they are perfection. Can't wait to share them with you
Also, I have finally received my Twilight collectors edition and the Cd - so I will definately review the two and post some pics - because the book is wrapped up and there's no wait to have a peek without purchasing it.
I wish you all a lovely Monday!!!Marta

With Love from Mexico…..part two!!!
Hello Darlings,
So here's my attempt at being vacation fabulous!!! lol
Tiny Bikini
Bikini - being the most important article of " clothing" during vacation is also the most dreaded one...lol

Prancing around in a tiny bikini, half-naked is somewhat intimidating...since I am uncomfortable parading around the resort in a bikini, I would always wear a dress or shorts outside the beach area ( bar, restaurants, lobby, etc) ... As for bikini sarongs, I am not very fond of them, especially the long ones... but then again, I am no fashion guru and if it works then it works.

I am wearing:
Moschino Triangle Bikini
Ray Ban Wayfarers
Marc Jacobs Sunglasses
American Apparel Lame Headband

In the swimming pool, I usually resorted to a one piece... swimming pool is the time for fun and games and the last thing I want is to constantly check if my tiny bikini is still there,lol...But a one piece should be on a sexy sice rather than a sporty side ( unless you're a serious swimmer,lol)...

I am wearing:
Christian Audigier Peacock One Piece Swimsuit
The moment I say this swimsuit, I fell in love with it ... it is very comfortable and sits in all the right places. I don't think that any swimsuit ever made me feel as confident and feminine as this one ... if I could, I would wear it everyday.

My vacation wardrobe was all about cute dresses and my favorite Miss Trish of Capri Sandals( I love them, so much).... easy to wear and easy to look cute in.

I am wearing:
Ella Moss Daisy Off Shoulder Dress
Miss Trish of Capri Sandals
Marc Jacobs Sunglasses

I am wearing:
Wilfred Dress
Miss Trish of Capri Sandals
Ray Ban Wayfarers
Marc Jacobs Sunglasses

I am wearing:
Abercrombie &Fitch Shorts
Abercrombie & Fitch Top
Marc Jacobs Sunglasses

I am wearing:
H&M Top
Abercrombie & Fitch Shorts
Miss Trish of Capri Sandals
NIGHT TIME
When the sun set, Cancun city came to life... The party atmosphere there is amazing and Andrew and I definately look advantage of that. Every night, we explored a new and amazing nightclub.
Here are some of our memories...

Maggie Ward Dress
BCBG Max Azria Blazer
Swarovski Love Charm Bracelet and Necklace
Miss Trish of Capri Sandals
The Coco Bongo shows are incredible.... amazing, performance, wonderful atmosphere... and always extremely crowded

As for wardrobe, I usually wore simple dresses with heels or flats... nothing too complicated.
As for make up....
In a hot and humid climate, the last thing you want is to wear a ton of make up... half way through the night your face will be melting off - TRUST ME not a pretty sight ( and I saw a lot of it)

Wilfred Dress
Michael Kors Heels
This is the last part of my vacation post...

Casual and Festive….
Hello Darlings,
Well, I finally have the time to post my outfit from Saturday night party.... although it was a Christmas party it was more on a casual side.
So Ta ta... my casual but " festive" outfit... lol

Nothing compares to a cozy sweater on a chilly winter evening ( of course, with a warm jacket on top, lol)

I am wearing:
Maggie Ward Dress
M. Rena Wool Sweater
Givenchy Pantyhose
80%20 Jackie Hidden Wedge Crinkled Patent Leather Boots
Gap Leather Hobo
A.V. Max Gold Studded Cuff
Swarovski Earings
I was bit nervous about the hidden wedge... but it looks really awesome. It is definable not an ordinary boot... and really does give that perfect touch to otherwise boring winter outfit.

I though that I would throw in this random fact... up until few month ago I would never wear a tony tail outside of my home, but now I am definately loving a messy pony... Especially, because of this weather my hair is so staticy ... Any recommendations as to what products to use to prevent that?
P.S. I finally had a chance to spend some time in the local bookstore and picked up a copy of Twilight ( I was hoping to get the special edition... but I was lucky enough to scoop up 2nd last paperback) and I also picked up That Extra Half an Inch by Victoria Beckham - which believe it or not is actually pretty fun read. I will make sure to post a thing or two from the book as well as some picture which are really awesome ....
And I am going to leave with this awesome John Galliano Jewelry Ad.... it is so sexy, I love it!!

Twilight ….
Hello Darlings,
I apologize for such a delay with posts... I am once again bombarded with school work, since the first semester is done in three weeks.Anyways, lol....
This weekend I had a chance to see Twilight...and although I have never read the book, I LOVED IT... maybe because I developed a bit of a crush on the main actor, Robert Pattinson... hehe.
I am now looking into reading all of the books... but since I usually read only classics, I am a bit hesitant.... WOULD YOU RECOMMEND IT OR NOT?

I am wearing:
M. Rena Wool Sweater from Mendocino
Abercrombie&Fitch Grey Skinnies
Gap organic cotton tee
Royal Rossi Pink Cashmere Scarf - a gift from mommy
Swarovski Love Charm - a gift from Andrew
Juicy Couture Flats with pom poms

I am currently writting an essay on Andy Warhol ... and totally loved the covers on the
books.
♥ Girls just want to have fun ….. ♥
AND
I adore Blair ...
I am wearing:
Juicy Couture Puff Sleeve Polo
H&M High Waisted Skirt
Miss Sixty Knee Socks
Swarovski Love Charm Bracellet
Diamond Studs
Michael Kors Booties
H&M Headband
