The other night I attended Liv’s private soirée for bloggers, stylists and media. Co-hosted by Liv by Au Lit and the talented blogger Danielle of Final Fashion it was an interesting experience especially considering this was my first blog related party

I am a little shy...I must admit. I was slightly intimidated at first but it was fun. *blush blush*
It took me a while to figure out what to wear, but I finally decided on one of my favorite dresses, a beautiful silk-chiffon dress by Robert Rodriguez! I adore this dress, it makes me feel so feminine and pretty. I topped it off with my new obsessions: Transparent tights and my favorite party shoes! I call them my Cinderella shoes, not because of the mirror and the Swarowski encrusted heels but because they make me feel like Cinderella whenever I wear them.

Personally, when it comes to cocktail dresses I prefer simplicity with delicate touches. This dress has a delicate ruffle front with large buttons. The details are what makes this dress interesting, and I love the classic and conservative cut.

Getting dolled up is always a treat. If you haven’t done it in a while, do it today! You don’t have to be getting ready for an event, even if you’re just having dinner/coffee with someone special (family, friends, significant other, etc)! Spoil yourself!
