With Facebook and Twitter buzzing with reading week and spring break chit chat, thought to add my two cents on prepping for travel. Something as simple as choosing toiletry basics can make your trip the least stressful. Every girl knows how a chipped nail can spoil an otherwise wonderful day, so pack your toiletries first to ensure you have all the daily essentials.

Hello Darlings,
With gusting winds and the indoor/outdoor temperature changes, our skin and hair take the worst of it. With winter peeking through it is important not only to toughen up your wardrobe but also your skin and hair treatment plan.
During the cold season, I find that the basics of skin and hair care must be enriched with a few more products. With sensitive skin and long hair, winter really takes it's toll. However, over time I have found a few “cold busters” that when used regularly, keep my skin glowing and my hair shiny.
As far as my make-up goes, less is more. I am not typically one to try new techniques, nor do I really bother with perfecting my smokey eye (which, I have tried once and hated!). The idea of using a bronze or trying to contour my face scares the life out of me. Essentially, anything daring is a no-go in my books :)

I do not own a lot of make-up however I do have my favorite go-to products. But, I am a huge believer in the power of good eyebrows, and see my esthetician every 7 to 10 days for eyebrow threading. Aside from regular trips to an esthetician for face cleaning, in my opinion nutrition and proper skin care products including daily SPF are key. Make-up is meant to highlight ones beauty, not to mask it.
Hello Darlings,
Mascara is the most important item in every girl's beauty kit. Despite the challenge to find your perfect mascara, it is a task worth pursuing. As far as my search, it began when I was 16 years old and on my first make-up trip to Chanel counter with my mother.
My mom always says what you put on your face is not an area to save on, which is why I always buy Chanel, Dior, YSL or Lancome. Despite the products costing more, quality is everything.
She also says less is more, which explains my preference for using make-up lightly. Since my make-up lasts me up to four months, I find the cost to be an "investment" worthwhile.
Which is why today I am writing about my all time favorite mascara, Chanel Inimitable. I do like YSL, Dior and Lancome for mascaras but Chanel has always been my first choice. This season Chanel released a new version of my favorite, called Chanel Inimitable Intense. Image my frustration when I stopped by the beauty counter and had to pick between the two. I settled on the new one: why not try it out?
