I hope everyone has enjoyed the weekend and remembered to turn the clocks one hour ahead. Although spring hasn't sprung yet, Toronto is gearing up for Fall/Winter 2012-2013 collections with World MasterCard Fashion Week from March 12th to 16th. With promising weather forecast of clear skies and double-digit temperatures, I am looking forward to not wearing winter coats while attending the shows.

Toronto International Film Festival is well underway and downtown Toronto is swarmed with celebs, paparazzi, people and celebrity stalkers :P Despite a fact that I despise hassles and bustles of busy places, I tend to quite enjoy lively atmosphere that surrounds the city during this time of the year.Luckily, I was invited to Stella Artois Film Screening at The Drake Hotel to celebrate the opening of TIFF. Thank you Noor!

Living in Canada has its advantages and disadvantages...however when it comes to fashion, it is mostly a disadvantage. Well, unless you're willing to adapt, adjust and embrace the beauty of Canadian freezing winters. Personally, I love winter...for the activities, holiday season, and of course the million ways one must learn to stay warm :P In some cases it is finding a pair of boots that are not only fabulous but practical, water-proof and warm ( my secret: a pair of good quality ski socks, those babies are über warm! Give them a try!) or finding that ideal winter jacket....or in my case, the struggle to find a perfect LBD ( little black dress) that is suitable for -20s and chic parties!!!.....
