In Every Girl’s Make-Up Kit: my favorite cosmetics

Hello Darlings,

As far as my make-up goes, less is more. I am not typically one to try new techniques, nor do I really bother with perfecting my smokey eye (which, I have tried once and hated!). The idea of using a bronze or trying to contour my face scares the life out of me. Essentially, anything daring is a no-go in my books

I do not own a lot of make-up however I do have my favorite go-to products. But, I am a huge believer in the power of good eyebrows, and see my esthetician every 7 to 10 days for eyebrow threading. Aside from regular trips to an esthetician for face cleaning, in my opinion nutrition and proper skin care products including daily SPF are key. Make-up is meant to highlight ones beauty, not to mask it. So here is a list of my favorite cosmetics:

1. YSL Gloss Pur in Pure Watermelon (8)

I adore this color, and use it everyday. It stays on well and is not overly sticky.

2. YSL Rouge Pur in 141

For a change, I occasionally switch to a lipstick, and this one is

my absolutely favorite as the color is so subtle.

3. Shu Uemure Eyelash Curler

Every girl should have this curler is her kit. As long as

you replace it every 6 to 8 month, this one is fantastic.

4. Tarte Cheek Stain in Flush

I can’t live without this product, it is that amazing!

5. Chanel Inimitable Intense Mascara

6. Lancome Le Crayon Khol in Black Coffee

For a touch of drama, add a very thin line to the top lid.

7. Chanel Poudre Universelle Compacte

I like translucent powder the most. A sweep over the face

with a large brush gives me that clean and natural finish.

8. Chanel Correcteur Perfection

I prefer this concealer to YSL touche eclat for better coverage.
