Hello Darlings,
Some times everyone needs a new spin on a favorite… in which case for me it’s jeans. Although I worship them and have over a dozen pairs, I am slowly getting tired of “the look”.
So, I ventured out to find a pair of skinny trousers…and landed on this fabulous pair of Rag & Bone’s.Not only are they super comfy but they also have that perfect touch of a classic trouser with a super neat cuff. I fell in love the moment I laid my eye on them.. they’re also a very interesting color of cobalt blue! One word: LOVE! They are a perfect balance of classic and modern.I find it very beautiful that they are handmade since the craftsmanship is perfection.
I am wearing: Rory Beca Silk Blouse; Rag & Bone Trousers; BCBG Max Azria Tuxedo Blazer; Bloch Patent Leather Ballerinas; Juicy Couture Laptop Bag; A.V.Max Cuff; Diamond Studs.
To add a touch of femininity I went for my new silk Rory Beca blouse… which I also picked up this weekend. It is so beautiful and delicate and I love the details: a ruffled bib and double layer of semi-sheer silk. Topping it all off is my BCBG Max Arzia tuxedo blazer.
This outfit was ideal for class and my desert/coffee date with my bestie, Natalia. The day was complete by my chance encounter with the adorable Joe Jonas and the stunning Natasha Henstridge…these were my first star run ins and I still don’t understand people’s fascination with celebrities-to me, they are just people…absolutely nothing fascinating. So exactly why are people so obsessed with celebs? :S
Well, I am off to do homework for my architecture class and then walk my baby ( aka my Cocker Spaniel, Johnny)…

I have no idea why people are so obsessed with celebs… I have met some sports men and some Bollywood celebrities and honestly don't think they're any different to anyone else!

The Rag & Bone skinny jeans is just perfect! I've been looking for a black skinny jeans, but I have no luck so far… Hope I can find one soon : )

I don't understand why people are obsessed with celebrities either. The one time I 'ran' into Robert Pattinson, (well.. to be exact, he was across the street, lol) I couldn't understand why everyone was running after him and everything. He didn't particularly look like a god, or a demi-god to me. Even though it was nice to see someone 'straight from Hollywood', that was the only 'awesome' thing about it, and I kept on walking.
Just the length of those trousers with your Bloche ballerinas look fantastic! They are delicate but functional which is key in our closets today… Real nice.

so classy. you pull off the juicy labtop bag very well. i was forced to buy a vera bradley because none of my other bags could hold my labtop without feeling like they'd rip in half :/

Hello S. Elisabeth… just thought I'd say its funny that you say our fascination with them stems from their seeming to be just like us, and having so much voice and attention, when it is we who give them that attention.
It struck me as a 'cycle'.. if you will.
People are fascinated by celebs because the media builds them up to be something greater than they are - they ARE just people and acting/being a rock star isn't rocket science or even the most worthy profession. I think people freak out because they feel like they KNOW the person, even when they don't…
