Latest Finds: Blemish Busters from Dermalogica and Kiehl’s
Hello Darlings,
My latest finds are very effective as far as pimples and blemishes go. I’ve been using both products for a few months and have seen great improvements. One of the products is Dermalogica’s Clearing Skin Wash — sent to me courtesy of Dermalogica— and the second is Kiehl’s Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol Free Toner.

Dermalogica’s Clearing Skin Wash was designed to treat adult acne. It is effective, but is quite drying. If you have oily skin this would be perfect. Since my skin is dry during the winter, I use the cleanser only once or twice a week at most. If is effective but be sure to follow it with a good moisturizer. I recommend it for people with acne often as opposed to just occasional break outs.
Kiehl’s Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol Free Toner is more gentle but is not necessarily effective as an acne treatment. It is good for everyday use for all skin types. I love it as it gets rid of blackheads and does a good job soothing skin. I recommend it if you’re looking for a gentle tone that will clarify your skin and occasional break outs.
Have you tried any of these products? If so, what are your thoughts?
Also what are your blemish fighting tricks????
Note: Dermalogica’s product was sent to me by one of the representatives. However in no way has this influenced my opinion.

I will have to try one of these! I have yet to find a product that is effective on blemishes but easy on my annoyingly sensitive skin.

I’ve used that Kiehl’s product before - completely agree with your rating; I can have very sensitive skin sometimes and it works wonders. I have Proactiv spot treatment that I use whenever I break out and it’s worked with great success every time I’ve used it!

Hi Marta! Funny, but my today’s post is about skin care too!
Great minds…? I’ve been meaning to try Kiehl’s for ages, but never got around to pick anything… Maybe soon. As far as these products go… I’d say it’s good to have something like this on stand-by, just in case, but for somebody with an acne it would be a lot more important to look into their diet and visit a nutritional therapist (nutritionist) because any skin problems needs to be treated from the inside out. Being a nutritional therapist myself I’ve seen some amazing changes!
Wishing you a wonderful week!

I just recently discovered Dermalogica and can’t wait to try out some of their new products coming out. Thx for the review!
Btw, you looked FAB in your NYE dress!! Hope you’re having an amazing January so far!
ohmylord. what haven’t i tried!!?!?!? i am going to look into the khiel’s toner. i’m a huge fan of obagi acne treatment for dry skin and origins spot remover. i also couldn’t live without my zeno hotspot. that thing rocks. i have a few on my chin that will not disappear. ugh. so i am reading a book about ayurvedic natural beauty by pratima raichur. it’s pretty cool. fingers crossed.
