Hello Darlings,

University is setting in and I am back into my student mode but I am still having a hard time adjusting my everyday wardrobe towards a more casual side… :S Tonight I took out my Garcia heels for a quick-y to my Cubism night class…since I drove, there was no reason not to and one big reason to wear them: I am in love with these babies :P and love dressing up!

Despite the heels I did keep my outfit simple and casual…with my über-comfy Wang for Gap trousers, bustier tee and a cashmere cardi to stay warm in those heavily air-conditioned auditoriums :) Which all got me thinking, is there a Toronto style?

I am wearing:
Wilfred Bustier Tee
Alexander Wang for Gap Trousers
Cece Cashmere Cardi
Pedro Garcia Mary Janes
Luc Kieffer Barbared Wire Ring

If you’re a student what’s your everyday “school uniform”?
If you’re not what would you wear if/when you were?

Also thank you Jae from Toronto Styles for this amazing feature - click on the title!!!!

:) I love your outfit.. especially the bustier, and the heels!! I've been in love with the bustier since I saw Kristin Kreuk in a bustier dress… lol. *drool* I haven't found the perfect one for me yet.

lol.. this is definitely not a 'school outfit' suggestion..as I need help with that myself, but have you tried pairing your Wilfred bustier with the American Apparel late night mini skirt? I have that mini-skirt myself, and was thinking… wouldn't it be great if I had a bustier top to wear with it? :D

… that is the most gorgeous sunset in your second picture, btw. I love it when the clouds 'turn pink' in the darkening sky.

    Hi Lauren,
All of the indoors pictures I take myself ( I place a camera on a book shelf and set a timer), most of the outdoors pictures are taken by my awesome mom or bf :) I don't own a professional camera so I try my best to make them clear and interesting… so thank you for the compliment on my photos.

    Have a lovely day!

hmm I'm a high school student, so it's probably different.. But I usually just throw on whatever's inspiring me in my closet when I role out of bed and then figure out the accessories and shoes, etc after

Ooh, love this set of pictures! I always wear jeans to uni, I feel like am stuck in such a rut! But yes, they serve the purpose and tick all the right boxes. I especially love the new skinny jeans I've been seeing around in stores lately, the ones without any embellishment or pockets, and they fit like a glove!- much like jeggings.
