What a fabulous week I’ve had with the excitement of World MasterCard Toronto Fashion week, and the joy that I experienced during our Fabulous Girls Night Out!

On March 13th together with designer Melissa Nepton, I had the pleasure of co-hosting WithLoveGabrielle.com's first reader event with Wine Australia and Eight Wine Bar. In the company of close friends and colleagues, I also had the pleasure of finally meeting some of you! Foremost, I would like to thank everyone who did stop by!

World MasterCard Toronto Fashion Week is underway and the action is non-stop. The festivities were kicked off with a cocktail reception hosted by event sponsor MasterCard to celebrate the Stylicity program where I had the opportunity of meet and have my picture with one of my personal fashion heroes, Jeanne Beker — host of Fashion Television for over 25 years.

I hope everyone has enjoyed the weekend and remembered to turn the clocks one hour ahead. Although spring hasn't sprung yet, Toronto is gearing up for Fall/Winter 2012-2013 collections with World MasterCard Fashion Week from March 12th to 16th. With promising weather forecast of clear skies and double-digit temperatures, I am looking forward to not wearing winter coats while attending the shows.

To be a lady, certain details can be overlooked while others should be learned, and learned early! Among the many frightening social mishaps this one is crucial to learn. A topic that may seem silly to discuss but I will take the liberty... as I have seen a number of not so lady-like sights this weekend.

Earlier today, while getting into my vehicle I glanced at a neighbouring car and received an eyeful of polka dot panties, presented by a woman who seemed mostly concerned with not spilling her cup of coffee! I’ve seen such a presentation before, but only on a Saturday night after the party is over and everyone is getting into a taxi, not in broad daylight at a shopping mall.
