Hello Darlings,
Here's a sneak peek into my INSPIRATION NOTEBOOK, which is my version of a look book.
I am wearing:
Gap shirt
Talula Wool Blazer
H&M Denim Mini
Puma Suede Sneakers
Firenze Collection Bag
I adore the DKNY collection and can't wait to get my hand on some of those pieces. But for today, I was inspired to try something new and the weather obliged as it was +18 in Toronto. I loved this entire outfit, and debuted it in yet another one of my German classes.
Hello Darlings,
Today has been really exciting, as I received a surprise e-mail from author Karen Essex of my favorite book, Leonardo's Swans... (I jumped around my room *blush blush*) how often do you receive "thanks for reading my book" from an author? Not only is she an award-winning journalist, a screen writer, and author of two acclaimed biographical novels, Kleopatra and Pharaoh, but Karen is also a fashion lover, who "never felt the need to look like a frumpy writer" and who views fashion "as theater, and another art form to enjoy."
I've been fascinated with the story of Leonardo's Swans and have spent my free time researching about Isabella and Beatrice d'Este. I am extremely excited to start reading Stealing Athena which also focuses on art and architecture ..... Check this out:
Thank you Karen Essex for dedicating your time to write such a wonderful book that demonstrates and exposes the genius of Leonardo Da Vinci - and for my quick hello... As for today's outfit, I am wearing my new shirt from Totem.
I've never owned any article of clothing in such bright colors before.
Once I saw it ... I had to have it, I love the colors :)
I AM WEARING:
Totem Shirt
J Brand Skinnies
Talula High Waisted Short
Soia & Kyo Charlie Coat in White
Gap Leather Purse
Michael Kors Leather Ankle Boots
Swarovski Love Charm Bracelet
Another current obsession: jazz lace-up shoes which according to Vogue is the new ballet flat - Kate Moss, Mirabelle Marden, and Natalia Vodianova are just a few trend setters wearing them.
Hello Darlings,
Fashion designers are notorious for creating impossible to wear, yet stunningly beautiful shoes. As stiletto's grow higher and skinnier, and the designs stranger every every season, the question is HOW FAR WILL YOU GO FOR FASHION?
I am a lover of outrageous but ooh so beautiful heels, even if they are unwearable for almost any occasion.. and even if they are impossible to do what they are supposedly designed for (to actually walk in them)... Is this the definition of a "shoe whore"?
