Hello Darlings,

First of all, please remember to enter for a chance to win our Fabulous Meets Fashion experience, which closes tomorrow at 3:59pm!

Sometimes black and white is all that it takes. On days when your full closet looks empty, there is still that favourite dark wash pair of skinny jeans and blouse combination that is a saviour! It’s like a little black dress, but a step in the casual direction. Whether you pair this look with your favourite ballerinas to have coffee with a friend, or pair it with heels for a dinner date, this go-to look just works.

I AM WEARING:
Talula Babaton Silk Blouse
Marc by Marc Jacobs Hayworth Fur Vest
Rich & Skinny Legacy Crop
La Baccarina Leather and Suede Thigh-High Boots
YSL Arty Rings
3.1 Phillip Lim Berry Clutch

As I was getting ready for casual cocktails, I was rummaging through my closet with much frustration. Thankfully, I found my old staple semi-sheer white blouse, and to add a kick to an otherwise simple look, paired it with my thigh-high boots and my new favourite Marc by Marc Jacobs fur vest. I am often intimidated to wear the boots over my jeans, but this time it seemed not too bold of a look.

Point is, every girl needs some go-to pieces to have a “safe outfit” to feel good when the casual cocktails aren’t little black dress worthy.

What is your safe outfit for those days when the searching for your look doesn’t come so easy?

With Love…

Marta

Such a glamorous look! Love this…. my go-to is very similar when I want to retire the LBD! Usually a black blazer, black leather pants, and black booties :)
