Hello Darlings,
Living in Canada comes with it's fair share of good and bad. To the good, ski season lasts a long time. To the bad, freezing your tushy in -20 temperatures. But then again there is an upside to extreme cold weather, since it present me with a new fashion challenge... So today's HUNT is finding the perfect extreme cold weather hat!
I have not worn a hat since grade nine, instead just using the hood of my parka. But now that I transferred to a wool coat, my ears are freezing. Thus my search for a warm hat, which is more of a challenge than I could imagine!
In my experience, hats come in limited supplies and in pretty boring variations. Eventually I found this Mariouche Hat with recycled fox fur. The hat cost $100, which is more than I wanted to pay, but it's cute and really warm!
My ears are toasty warm and surprisingly it never leaves me with "hat hair" or " flat hair".
CRAZY or NOT! - it was just too cold.

Twilight Update: I finished the last book of Twilight Saga - Breaking Down - during my trip - I LOVED IT. I really hope Stephanie Meyer decides to publish Midnight Sun - which is Edward's version of Twilight. If you have any info on this book.... please do share.

Thanks to my wonderful boyfriend, I had the best time tonight. He surprised me with a candle lit dinner at a Moroccan restaurant with belly dancing. Seriously, I want to learn how to belly dance. The dancer was awesome doing all that sexy stuff with her body... really cool.

Andrew bought me this simple yet perfect dress last night while last minute shopping.
So, I decided to surprise him by wearing it tonight... :)

The necklace perfectly matches the charms bracelet he gave me for our 6 month anniversary.

Hello Darlings,
I am leaving for a vacation to Mexico tomorrow, so things are crazy. I have morning full of girly things like a mani /pedi and the rest of the beautiful girly things. Also, tomorrow is my two year anniversary with Andrew which I am really excited about....
Shiny.... I found a New Years dress and few more new things to take with me. I bought a pair of Michael Kors Patent Leather Oxfords and couldn't wait to wear them with my new American Apparel Disco pants....
I am bringing this outfit to Cancun, although it's a little risque for me. I love trying new things and experimenting with clothing, and these pants are definately out there for me ... but I LOVE THEM.

Well... I should get back to packing, it's going to be a long night..... and I am taking Victoria Beckham's advice about what to bring. Here's two quotes from " That Extra Half an Inch"....
"Don't bother with flashy designer luggage. There's a good chance it could get stolen as it attracts attention..." " Always bring a dressy outfit as you just never know where your holiday might take you..."
" I try to stick to the formula of bringing something casual ( plain T-shirts, miniskirts), something classic ( nice V-necks, a pencil skirt and a plain dress) and then something a bit more out there for some fun."

I've decided to give myself a small gift. I've been obsessing over latex/wet looking tights and couldn't find a pair. I refuse to wear leggings, because they make me feel naked.... They work beautifully for some but they're just not for me. So here it is - DISCO TIME
It was love at first sight with these American Apparel Disco Pants. Although not latex, they give the same effect. I also bought this sweater dress - yes, it's a dress - but it also works as a sweater. Since the pants make me feel naked, I balance my nakedness with a chunky knit...

Twilight Update and my trip to Chapters to buy the last two Twilight books.
I finished reading New Moon and am realllllly excited for the movie. However, I did miss that Edward wasn't there. It would be interesting if Stephanie Meyer wrote a book told from Edward's perspective. She was working on one, " Midnight Sun" until it was leaked on internet.
