Sugar Rush…
Hello Darlings,
Today’s post is about lazy days and desserts, which in my life are hand-in-hand. The other night I went to one of my favorite dessert places for custom cookies, cappuccinos /chai lattes and played around with the camera. I am still learning how to use it: P
This time around, I would like to share with you five of my favorite dessert places in Toronto. I am a huge dessert lover and we are always on a hunt for a new spot.
♥Caffe Demetre on Bloor Street West
I’ve been going here since grade nine and will never stop. Their desserts are heavenly. You must try their crepes! This place is always packed on weekends but the wait is usually short.
♥ Sweet Flour Bakeshop on Bloor Street West
You can make your own customs cookies. If you’re a cookie lover, this is the place. It is a cute place to spend the night sipping on your coffee and munching on fresh made cookies.
Dest cupcakes in Toronto. Similar to Magnolia Bakery in New York, except I like their cupcakes more.
Nadege is a French patisserie with the best macaroons ever. Very Parisian-chic with a modern spin!
♥ Moroco Chocolat in Yorkville
Gourmet desserts with a very luxurious experience. This is the place for desserts and amazing cocktails.
I am wearing:
H&M Tank Wilfred Sweater (from Aritzia) American Apparel Disco Pants Mackage Peaches Jacket Marc by Marc Jacobs Jumbled Logo scarf (from Revolveclothing) Marc by Marc Jacobs Miss Marc Earrings ( from Nordstrom Soho) Michael Kors Eagle BootsAs for my outfit, it was a lazy day and an even lazier outfit. There are times when I just do not feel like getting dolled up or wearing much make-up. This is my typical comfy outfit. No, it is not sweat pants (the biggest no-no for me). Instead, I prefer comfy jeans. In this case, I wore American Apparel disco pants, a loose top, and a scarf. Life is not a runwaybut dressing down should not mean sloppy and messy. Dressing lazy can be cute!
Wishing Everyone a Beautiful Valentine’s Weekend!!!
With Love…
Marta

I love dressing lazy, I call it my grunge look :p
Happy Valentine’s Day dear Marta! Hope you get some downtime.
Love your lazy-day outfit, and that scarf really adds a pop of color
I love desserts too and wish I could be in TO to try all these places!
That jacket is heavenly as is that first picture!

I loved this post just because John and I are usually on the hunt for new dessert/coffee places as well! So we will def check these out…we go to that Demetre’s often as well =) …ps you should check out I Love Crepes on College street….SO good and the atmosphere is usually great (dim lit)…small place but AWESOME crepes…banana and nutella one is the best ever….
ps. cute scarf!!
I’m a big fan of Demetre’s too! It’s defs one of my fave spots for dessert.
Also, I love how cute the MBMJ scarf looks on you! Hope you had a wonderful Valentine’s day!
As always, I love the outfit! Especially the leggings! I have yet to visit Canada, but recognize Bloor St. because I work for a company that puts on Canadian cancer benefit events and we have staged “protests” on Bloor St. =)
ps…wanted to leave a comment about the Olympics, the Opening Ceremonies were AMAZING! I loved the lighting effects, so amazing!
Yummy.. TO sounds like a dessert paradise! (And if that is a Starbucks in your hand, I am utterly envious -I haven’t had one since my last job!
)
What a cute scarf that is!!
[...] These are my favorite places to be, besides dessert cafes. Because of my deep love and appreciation for them, Toronto’s dessert places essentially deserved their own post. You can check it out here! [...]
