Hey Everyone,
Today was an another relaxing and fun day for me… I was just running errands around the downtown Toronto… and …Although my day was mostly spent in the car, I did menage to get some awesome snapshots 
…. So here’s a peek into my daily life and my outfit choice 
I started my day with a very slloooooowwwww drive to downtown( a 5 minute drive turned into 35) ….. But no worries, I entertained myself by taking pictures of the stunning view from the highway. ( Please don’t try this at home,:P) … I swear that usually, I’m a very careful driver
I kept my distance 
Bored at the red lights
After the long drive and finally finding a parking spot… I dropped by my office( well, my profs. office). Here’s the deal, I have an awesome job - as a research assistant to one of my architecture profs. ( who is incredible and inspiring woman) - which allows me to work from home and from the office. Wicked, I know? It also means that I have no schedule Well, here it is ….

After the office fun, I headed for some real fun … the spa to get a routine facial and some girly things … and finished of my day, playing Grand Theft Auto IV on Xbox 360 with my “better-half” for about 5 hours…I ended up heading home, high on coffee, at 12:30am and here I am …. BLOGGING

Here’s quick look at a boring life of an ordinary girl.
AND NOW, ON TO THE SERIOUS STUFF,
THE OUTFIT OF TODAY
Today’s look is just as simple as every other one … I mean what a girl to do when, comfort is essential ( for such a long day) …. of course, TURN TO THE FLATS which I paired with my “parachute” top (well, that’s what I like to call it) and a trusty pair of dark- wash skinnies.

I’m a flat lover, they are perfect for running around downtown all day long while trying to look cute when it is 30 degrees outfit. So, here’s my question:
CAN A MODERN DAY WOMAN WEAR HEELS EVERY DAY?
For me, the answer is NO.
As a student it is impossible for me to spend an entire day on heels, especially when my university is located all over downtown ( I’m not joking)… sometimes it takes me 15 minutes to get from one lecture to another by foot. And try crossing an entire park on heels … IMPOSSIBLE. So my solution is flats…. cute, comfy, and still give an outfit that dressed up feeling.
What was once reserved for casual Fridays is now also for stately affairs.The look appeals to all fashion lovers, from the first lady of France to style setter Kate Moss.
SO, WHAT IS YOUR TAKE ON FLATS?

i love love love flats sometimes u want to be stylish and comfortable.
ok so im lovin you more and more after each post….theyre getting better and better =) ….first off, your office so much "cooler' then mine…im in a highrise but it not downtown toronto so therefore..no match
…and second- I regret not buying that top at H&M -I swear I was debating..and now I see it on you and it looks so chic…simple…but theres an understated sexiness to it…AND my take on flats: I love them, love the way they feel, but for some reason I always end up buying so many damn pairs of heels..and hardly wearing them..you should check out the hoe box collection in my room :s…theyre just so hawwt :s…(my responses are getting longer and loger..haha..i'll try to keep 'em short and sweet 
)
p.s. check out the Marc Jacobs bags at Holts….I saw some really cute black hobo ags..mind you they were a bit pricier at $450 I think? They sell out quick though
I love flats. I’ve taken a break from them, but for work, everyday, they are my favorite “go to” item. Thanks for your comment, sweetie. You always look so pretty! I love your denim and top too. ^_^

ooooh love your outfit! i’ve only been to Toronto once.. a few years ago.. the husband’s got a lot of family there.. so hopefully we’ll make a return visit!
and i totally love flats.. it’s just been lately that i’ve really been wearing heels/wedges more.. but when traveling.. and when a lot of walking/standing is required.. flats are a must!

And yes flats are good, because they are just so comfy, and if you have to go 15 minutes then they are definitely better than heels
love ALL the pictures! i am a high maintenance heel girl. i wear sneakers to run stairs, does that count as flats?
That top is amazing!!! And I totally love flats on women, they often work so much better on some outfits, and on the plus side they don’t hurt!

As for flats, they are essential when any amount of walking is involved. When I had a desk job, I wore heels every day, but as a teacher, I almost always wore flats; to do otherwise is pure torture when you are on your feet all day.
Also, with skinny jeans, flats are more appropriate for the office; stilettos are a tad sexy for work when wearing skinny pants, in my humble opinion.

i love the top! and i need flats because i work as a hostess for seven hours a day and standing that long on heels isn’t worth it.

I had a great time in TO. I did have time to stop by Holt Renfrew and check out the Tory Burch flats but sadly didn’t buy any. I’m currently in Arizona and stopped by the Scottsdale Fashion Plaza. There’s a Tory Burch boutique there and the sales girls are awesome.
