While the sun was calmly setting over Toronto, the launch party for Ferknot was heating up. With the day’s end came a charming soirée to celebrate the up-and-coming label. Ferknot was founded in Toronto by three friends, Jorge Calderon, Ryan Bruehlmann and Rick Taylor. With the guys drive to achieve the perfect fit in a dress shirt, Ferknot was born.
A perfect fit is exactly what Ferknot achieved when they made the decision to host their launch at the Thompson Toronto Hotel. The Thompson Hotel is one of my favorite spots in the city, especially during the warm summer months. Nothing beats sipping on a martini, overlooking the gorgeous city! Definitely worth stopping by 
Being part of new media has allowed me to take part in many interesting and glamorous events. At the first sight, it is every girls dream come true to attend events and meet people as part of work. Every day you open your inbox to see an invite to yet another magnificent party! Bliss?
Well, of course it is exciting, and yet it also gets overwhelming. Dolling up multiple times each week and then figuring out what to wear is no easy task; however, Ferknot’s enticing event meant that this time around I was too excited to be concerned with looking my best. I just wanted to have a fun date night and the perfect companions were my new Marc by Marc Jacobs wedges, of course along with my bf.
I am wearing: ♥ Winter Kate Chiffon Dress ♥ Marc by Marc Jacobs Vinty Wedges thanks to SSENSE ♥ Z Spoke by Zac Posen PurseI’ve wanted this particular pair for a very long time. SSENSE was kind enough to upgrade my shipping to overnight so that I could wear my new fabulous find to this event. The MMJ babies were complemented by my new Winter Kate chiffon dress, which is made of vintage silk. The loose fitting dress with full sleeves and a tear-drop open back flowed beautifully and was perfect in the evening breeze.
It was a lovely evening! Couldn’t have asked for a better night out.

The hotel sounds and looks beautiful and chic. Also, the swimming pool on the very last photo makes me think of blue jelly on top of a sponge decorated with grated coconut.
