Hello Darlings,

March 29th, I had the pleasure to attend the Gala of Light in downtown Toronto — an evening to benefit Street Haven and hosted by television personalities Sarah Taylor and Cabbie Richards.

The event took place at the upscale Easy & The Fifth with entertainment from DJ’s Lissa Monet & Johnny Hockin, and an impressive violin performance by Yosvani Castenada. Aside from wonderful entertainment and delightful cocktails, the event also featured a silent auction.

For the past 45 years, Street Haven — founded by Peggy Ann Walpole — has provided shelter and continuum services to help women in need to get back on their feet. The agency has an open-door philosophy and all of the programs are based on non-judgemental total acceptance of the person. In the past year alone, Street Haven has provided services to more than 6,000 women in need. Every effort makes a difference, click here for more information on volunteering or donating.

I AM WEARING:
Talula Babaton Silk Blouse
Robbi & Nikki by Robert Rodriguez Feather Skirt
Aldo McIntyde Pump c/o Aldo
Kate Spade Little Blaine Purse

The evening not only benefited a wonderful cause, it also made for a perfect date night. Given the opportunity, what girl doesn’t like to doll up. I finally had a the perfect occasion to debut my Aldo Shoes sparkly stunners. I paired the shoes with my all-time favourite party skirt and my new Kate Spade purse.

Hope Everyone had a Wonderful Easter Weekend!

With Love…

Marta
