Dinner Party…
Hello Darlings,
Dressing for a dinner party can be a pain, stressing over being over-dressed, under-dressed, too conservative, “too fashion forward”, etc especially when meeting a new people. Well, this is what I struggling with on Saturday night… and this is what I came up with….
Next time, I will definately try this dress with my hair up, to accentuate the deep cut. I always hate deciding on hair up or down… ugghh
Some of you are probably getting tired of all the gray that’s been featured on this blog… but I just can’t help myself I love it so much. I think that it is an awesome alternative to black, hehe….I am definately looking forward to Spring and bringing back some color into my life, although I really do love neutrals, hehe.
I am still working on my Spring “inspirations” and “to-buy list” …I never thought that it was going to take this much time. Usually, anything and everything to do with shopping is pretty easy, but not this time… This whole planing thing is taking a lot out of me, hehe. It’s coming, I promise…actually I think that I am going to break up ” Spring inspiration” into multiple posts.
I would like to send out special thanks to freeTEYme and Nicole from The Wardrobe Chronicles for the amazing awards.
And of course, I send them out to all of the lovely bloggers. Thanks to everyone for the support and lovely comments/e-mails…It means the world to me
Thank YOU.
Marta

I have the same Wilfred dress in the same colour, except short sleeved
wore it to afternoon tea with some simple accessories
The dress is gorgeous! So simple and chic! But I especially love the first picture, it reminds me of summer, which seems so far away in Toronto right now
you look absolutely amazing in that dress
You can never have too much grey, or at least that’s what I think. You look great in that dress - it’s a perfect first impressions dress. I usually try and throw in one bright pop of colour when I wear grey.
Trisch xo
You look lovely in the dress and pairing them with sheer tights was a great idea.I too love gray, to me it provides a great background apart from black or white to play around with some colorful accessories.
I always love your little details - like the cuff over your dress sleeve.
I too wear a lot of grey, I’m excited to pair it with pastels for Spring!
i love the outfit-I think it’s perfect for a dinner party as well!
marta

Hi there,
it’s my first visit on your blog (coming via La Couturier) - and I love it! I will add it to my blog roll and will visit often!!
Great work!
xx, Sofie
I love your blog and think you are Fab! I just gotta tell you, not to be mean and please don’t take it the wrong way but… in my opinion, showing that much cleavage to a dinner party, especially a dinner party meeting new people is def not the classiest thing.
love your style .
xoxo
Iole
The dress looks great on you.
Anon: haha….omg, not offended at all.It wasn’t a formal dinner party, it was a Saturday night cocktail/dinner party. Not formal, but more fun… Thanks for the honesty
