Hello Darlings,

A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to receive two pairs of Cougar boots and a beautiful care package from Matchstick (Thank you!). Of course I was super excited to give these Canadian babies a try especially since the brand has such a great history (note: in now way has this opportunity influenced my opinion to review the product).

Since 1948, Cougar has been creating footwear in Ontario to keep our feet toasty warm through cold Canadian winters. This year, Cougar released a fashion forward line that features cute details such a buckles and faux-fur. Today, I had the opportunity to test out my very own pair of Ringo Star Boots that retail for $200.

The Product: The boots are nylon/suede with polar lining and traditional lacing.

Can be worn up to a knee or folded with fur showing.

The Idea: The boots are guaranteed waterproof and made to resist up to -30 degrees.

Made to resist leaks for period of six months.

My Review: The boots are heavenly soft and comfy. They live up to their reputation of being incredibly warm.

The only remark is that they fit slightly wider if you have a narrow foot. Otherwise, I strongly recommend this pair if you’re looking for a practical boot that will take you through winter’s highs and lows.

I am wearing:
Mackage “Leane” Lamb Leather Jacket—from ssense.com
Hayden Cashmere Dress—from bluefly.com
Cougar Ringo Star Boots—courtesy Matchstick
Moschino Suede Gloves—from Winners
Marioche Wool Toque—from Sporting Life
Transparenze Claze Collants Tights—from Legs Beautiful
Marc by Marc Jacobs Bow Percy Purse—a gift

Although they are not my typical choice, I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to dress them up these boots. They are cute and will be perfect for those cold winter days out in the country or to run errands. Everyone loves toasty warm feet! As for the rest of the outfit, I wore my cozy cashmere dress and a fun toque. To add a little bit of interest to an all black outfit, I added a pair of patterned tights.

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

P.S. I’ve added a suede jacket with rabbit fur to my store!

Wishing Everyone a Beautiful Day!!!

With Love…

Marta
