Hello Darlings… :)

I mentioned that I will post some of my ” beauty and diet secrets”, so here are my can’t life without suggestions that I strongly stand by and my everyday essentials..

Can’t Live Without…

( Literally…. P.S. click on the pics on buy)

Rosebud Salve

I mentioned that I will post some of my ” beauty and diet secrets”, so here are my can’t life without suggestions that I strongly stand by a

- If I was stranded on a deserted island…this would be my only product.

- I use it for everything.

- It is always in my bag, next to my bed,and in my bathroom.

- One word: BUY IT.

Kerastase Masque Nutri-Defense and BedHead Tigi HeadRush

- I use the Kerastase Masque once a week to repair my hair damage. It is a bit expensive and hard to find, but it really is magic. ( click on the photo to order the Kerastase in Canada and US)

- Bedhead Shine Mist is lightweight and makes my hair really shiny and frizz free .

Tea and Ice Cubes

- I hate drinking water, so instead I drink peach green, raspberry or Moroccan tea about 4-5 cups a day. And of course, I drink espresso but only when I feel tired- otherwise I try to stay away.

- Every morning and nights, I use chamomile ice cubes instead of a toner.

- Chamomile is very gentle skin tonic to replenish and enrich dry or sensitive skin. TRY IT.

Perfume and Antiperspirant

Photobucket

Smelling great and feeling fresh is of course the most important thing. Therefore, I can’t live without my Clarins antiperspirant ( I’ve been using it for years) it really does keep you dry and fresh all day long. As for my perfume, Coco Mademoiselle is my all time favorite.

Exercise: Ballet Stretches and Rock climbing

- I still do the same stretches I did when I danced ballet, and if you’re new to it: Check Out this book ” NYC Ballet Workout” by Peter Martins ( click). This book is very good and covers all of the areas… I definately recommend it.

- Rock climbing is my hobby and it gives me pretty good exercise.

- On the side note, I hate gyms… and don’t exercise on regular bases, but I do stay active by stretching couple times a week, rock climb on weekly bases, walk by dog, as well as ski with my dad in the winter, and rollerblade in the summer.

Food and Vitamins

- I grew up a very health conscious family and my mom is all about eating healthy.

- I don’t believe in diets or saying NO to yourself in terms of food, but what’s important is proportion. Everything can you consumer needs to be in balance proportion.

- I am take multivitamins and Omega 3,6,9 Supplements.

My Everyday Essentials….

Photobucket

Philosophy Purity Made Simple Cleanser
Philosophy Hope in a Jar Therapeutic Moisturizer For Dry, Sensitive Skin

Philosophy Hope in a Tube Eye & Lip Cream

- A set of Squirrel Hair Brushes ( my mom got them): it is really important to a set of good brushes

Tweezeman Classic Lash Curler

Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer - really awesome stuff

Chanel Tein Innocence - for those bad days, or spot cove up.

Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronzer - gives the most natural glow ever. I LOVE IT.

Dior Diorshow Powder in Catwalk Pink - I use it instead of a blush .It is a big hard to apply, takes some getting used to.

Chanel Les 4 Ombre de Chanel in Stage Lights - I use lighter colors for day and add darker for night.

Dior Diorshow Iconic Mascara - I like it, but when it is closer to being done it tends to dry up really quick. I’m looking for a new mascara with a smaller brush.

Yves Saint Laurent Far a Levres Rouge Pur in Pink Satin ( 141) - I love this color.

Dior Kiss Luscious Llip plumping Gloss in Berry Smootie - when I feel extra girly,I usually prefer matte finish instead of shiny.

OPI nail lacquer in We’ll Always Have Paris

OPI nail lacquer in Heart Throbe - for everyday

OPI nail lacquer, Nicole collection in City Pretty Rose - usually for summer

Sally Hansen Extra Moisturizing 4-1 Treatment - I love this stuff.

On my TO BUY list…

Chanel Poudre Douce: SoftPressed Powder
- for light coverage

YSL Mascara Volume Effect Faux Cils

Shu Eumura 24k Gold Eyelash Curler - I hear that it is the best, but I do think that it is a bit pricey. Is it worth it?

I also need a good hand cream - ANY SUGGESTION.

i <3 kiehl's. started using it this summer and have fallen in love.
i also love estee lauder. classic stuff.

    * i personally do not think the eyelash curler is worth it! i've had a few- higher-end and drugstore cheap & they all worked the same.

    goodluck with the schoolwork.

hello from a new reader, followed a link over from Final Fashion …

Kiehl's is phenomenal, I have been using it for years, they have the only cleanser and toner I have ever tried that does not irritate my extremely sensitive & dry skin.. that said, I am going to try the chamomile ice cubes and see how that goes as well!

    cheers,
    Kelly

  13. Elisabeth says:

I actually don’t hate Kiehl’s, but I don’t find their products any better than anything else I’ve tried, including drugstore products. I use Epicuren Herbal Cleanser and Epicuren Ultra Rose Treat Moisturizer. As for hand cream, AHAVA Mineral Hand Cream is the absolute BEST. Seriously. Their other products aren’t amazing, but this hand cream is something I can’t live without.

  14. esther says:

this was so interesting! thanks for sharing. :)
chamomile ice cubes sound super refreshing. i might have to try….

also i really love L’occitaine’s hand cream: La Source or Gardener’s Therapy. They both smell amazing and work wonders.

Awesome post, I needed tips on a good lip gloss so I’m glad you posted about what you use.

I also wore Coco Mademoiselle the date that my fiance proposed to me with a gorgeous diamond engagement ring from http://www.idonowidont.com so it’s definitely something I can’t live without for what it did for me.

    Thanks for the tips!

for mascaras i like clinique naturally glossy mascara, it never clumbs and the brush is amazing. also i prefer yves saint laurents everlong mascara, no clumbing but pretty lashes. ( i am neurotic about my lashes :D )
and i always tell that try to use white eye kohl to brighen your eyes, works wonders!
