My weekend was filled with great weather, beautiful nature, and bumming around on the beach - doing absolutely nothing. I love going to the cottage, the idea of not worrying about getting ready or doing all of those girly things is AWESOME.
A cottage getaway also gives me time to satisfy my addiction for reading. These photos are not “fashion forward” but are a lot more personal than usual

Looks like you guys had a good time =) is that your cottage because it looks awesome! Or do you guys rent it? p.s. My fave getaway is just our regular high park (cute to have picnics with le BF =) or camping (not so fun to do as a couple thing though..better with groups…thats the one time you will see me in sweats! well and during exams..uggh
p.s. I loved Valley of the Dolls- the end depressed me though and I really felt like reachin’ into the book at times and slapping/shaking up the characters!….now im on to “A million little pieces” - so far so good- what is that book you are reading? Same one?

I don’t think I have a favorite getaway, or to be precise, they are too many. My bf and I go somewhere every weekend, it’s a tradition:)

Awesome! Looks like you had fun! Where did you go? I personally love exploring big cities. I am an archiotecture kinda girl and I get lost in big buildings and old estates (in a good way!)

oh what a wonderful getaway! i’m ready for our next holiday.. we are all about traveling overseas and like a mix of relaxing at the beach or exploring a new town.

Although, i’d have to say I love the marin headlands just outside san francisco, I love the fresh mountain air.
