Hello Darlings,

First of all, I would like to say THANK YOU for your warm messages, it really touched me and placed a smile on my face :) Thank you for being so sweet! You are the greatest!

I got art-y with Microsoft Paint... :P P.S. The box is filled with cupcakes.

Well, I am still in pain but refuse to feel down!Actually, I am in more pain now then I was after the accident. BUT there are always going to be hard times however life goes on and you must too!!! Although I have exams in a week and a million doctors to see, I am very excited for this holiday season. Yesterday, my mommy took me on a little shopping spree to raise my spirits! Although we spent only an hour or so, it was exactly what I needed…followed by a coffee run with Andrew.

I am so thankful to have such a supportive family, boyfriend, best-ie and of course, you guys!

Anyways, moving on…..no more mopping around.

oopsy... missed a button!

This is the outfit that I was going to post on Wednesday but totally lucked out :P So here it is today! This was my exam outfit… which means I had exactly 15 minutes to get ready. So I settled for my new jeggings, cashmere scarf, a warm sweater and a cute headband. I know that it is not fashion forward or exciting but then again I am an everyday student and fashion needs to be practical for me! So I thought it would be fun to share my exam dressing as it is quick but I always chose to look put together. Looking cute during stressful times is always a good idea, it makes you feel a million times more confident.

I am wearing: Tevrow+Chase Wool Sweater; Blank jeggings from Liv; Gap Leather Purse; Club Monaco Cashmere Scarf; Soia & Kyo Anissa Wool Coat; Marcio Designs for Davids Shoes Thigh High Boots; Crystal Headband from Winners ( don’t know which brand).

EXAM DRESSING 101

♥ Put away your pj’s and lululemon yoga pants ( for me lululemon will always be for fitness and never for everyday life, sorry ladies I don’t mean to be rude). There are so many different kinds of pants out there that finding one that looks flattering and makes your tush look great ( i know that’s why many women love them) is not that difficult.

♥Wear comfortable pants but not gym pants. As sitting in an exam wearing a skirt or a dress is not fun, been there done that and say don’t do it! Wear jeans that are stretchy or in my case jeggings (these things are awesome. They are perfect to wear with boots as they do not wrinkle around the knee).

♥ Wear a cozy and simple top. Just to feel comfortable. A cute hoodie also looks great.

♥ Add a chic scarf, it makes every outfit look pulled together and well, chic.

♥ If you don’t have the time to do your hair and it is not exactly squeaky clean. Put it up! Personally, I add a cute headband just for fun.

♥ Wear a pair of cute flats, whether ballerinas or boots. You want to be comfortable. No foot pain, you must concentrate on the exam. ( P.S. taking off your shoes during an exam and class is a bit gross. Please do not do it! I have a few classmates who love doing that!)

♥ As for make up, add a touch of concealer under your eyes. Add a hint of blush. Curl your eyelashes ( add mascara if you have the time) and you’re done. Of yea and lipgloss.

♥ Bring with you extra pens and pencils and bottled water. If you have a watch bring that too to keep track of time!

♥ And of course, relax be confident in you knowledge and you will ace that exam with flying colors :) Best of Luck!

My headband close up... It is so pretty! It sparkles to beautifully and the velvet lining add such an interesting touch. Love it!

Well, I am off to over-doze on more painkillers( I’ve been taking pills as if there’s no tomorrow…te he :P ), do more studying and then get ready for my dinner with Andrew!

P.S. Please bare with me, I promise to reply to each and every one of your messages/e-mail as soon as I am done with my exams! That is a promise ( and I never break promises, ever!). Once again, thank you for your support! You truly are amazing!

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

Wishing everyone a lovely weekend!

With Love…

Marta

Couldn’t agree more with your comment about looking cute during stressful times making you feel more confident. It’s a strange phenomenon, but I somehow seem more put together during exam time than any other time during the year! Good luck on all your exams, and I hope you feel better! :)

You really do have such a great attitude. I am glad you are on your way to a full recovery! Hoping you are in less pain very soon (apparently pain means your body is getting better, which is why you are in pain more now than after the accident! Or maybe I just made that up :P )

Good luck on your exams! I am sure you will do great!

  4. I agree with the comments above — it’s best to put on pieces that make you feel great,
even though inside you may not be feeling so hot! Also, your hair looks so sweet up :)

Hope all the visit to the doctors go well — keep smiling*
    xoxo
