Hello Darlings,
Always a nature lover — I grew up spending summers at my grandparent's farm in Ukraine — and loving the thrill of adventure, the weekend at Blue Mountain satisfied my inner Marta-the-explorer. Savoring down time at Scandinave Spa and pool time at The Westin Trillium was a treat, but exploring the beauty of Ontario's Apple Country was an experience that I will never forget! To say that it made a lasting impression is an understatement.

Hello Darlings,
It was one of the most perfect early summer days ever as we drove north through weaving country roads en route to a weekend getaway at Blue Mountain Resort. Having traveled a lot the past couple of years, nothing really compares to spending a weekend in our Canadian "backyard". It's a sweet feeling of being at home while still exploring new things.

In just under two hours, we arrived at the charming Blue Mountain Resort. Nestled on the shores of Georgian Bay on the beautiful Niagara Escarpment, the resort is perfect for romancing couples, girl getaways, boys weekends, and of course families. As I've only been to the resort during ski season, I was quite keen to check it out in summer time!
Hello Darlings,
What girl doesn't love to doll up and spend the night out with her charming date? But more than fancy dinners, in my experience the casual dates are the ones that tend to be most fun. So in this spirit, here is my list of top ten favorite casual dates:

Hello Darlings,
I always admire those mothers, who seem to have it all figured out. A career, a supportive husband, incredible physique with a pair of well-behaved children. Among those mothers is mine!
She not only defended her Ph.D while in her last trimester with me, she was a professor in Ukraine, she established a wonderful career in Canada, is happily married to my father for the past 25 years, a wicked cook, the best mother, and doesn't look a day over 40 — she is a wonder woman, in my mind!

Although children of my own are far from my mind at this stage in life, they are definitely part of my future. Whenever a topic of family arises, I always wonder how can one woman have so many façades. In the modern day, she is not only expected to be a caring mother, a loving wife, a chef, a house-wife but also a business woman and a complete knock-out. No pressure at all! So can any girl become a "Victoria Beckham" minus the scary heels?
