TOMMY by Tommy Hilfiger Spring ’11 Presentation…and an invite for you!!!
Hello Darlings,
Few days ago I was invited to an exclusive presentation of the new TOMMY Spring 2011 collection at Thrush Empire Holmes. But who is TOMMY, you might be wondering...
Well, TOMMY is the recently launched line by Tommy Hilfiger. Since the brand celebrated its 25th anniversary, the designer is marking the occasion with an apparel line that is geared towards his 25-year-old customers. After all, they were the ones who made the brand iconic during the 90s when the Tommy jeans and rugby shirts were all the rage. This time around "eclectic mix of travel, nautical and neon, the Spring 2011 collection continues the pretty with an edge design aesthetic."
In Toronto: My Fave 5 Restos by Noelle Munaretto
Hello Darlings,
I am very excited to bring you this post by my close friend Noelle. She's not only a talented writer and a food industry insider, but a phenomenal and inspiring young woman.
I've tried out Gilead Café & Bistro and Mildred’s Temple Kitchen last weekend and it was hands down some of the best brunches that I've hand in a while. Can't wait to try out the other three— which I am sure are just as incredible. When it comes to food, I love it and must admit that it is one of my greatest indulgences. If I had to pick between a trip to a shopping mall and a good restaurant... a restaurant would be my choice:) I might not be an ace in the kitchen, but then again cooking is not exactly rocket science and I am slowly making my way up a cooking ladder with one recipe at a time. Surprising enough, I enjoy cooking more than I expected...but more on that later. Without further ado...
My Fave 5 Restos
Anyone who knows me knows I love all things food. After all, a girl’s gotta eat, right? As the Operations Manager for the Ontario Culinary Tourism Alliance, I’m all about supporting local and sustainable food and wine whenever I dine out in the city. By choosing to spend your food dollars on restos that showcase this province’s amazing culinary bounty, you are in turn helping the local economy and Ontario agriculture/viticulture industries. Aside from being locally-inspired, these five places have top-notch cuisine by top-notch chefs.

Here are my picks in the city for local food yumminess!
Alone Time…
Hello Darlings,
In the midst of academic chaos, it is always wonderful to find the time to relax and unwind. Regardless of how much I adore my field of study, it does get overwhelming and frustrating at times. I am sure that every single one of us has been or is in such a situation.I don't have much time on my hands and every day seems to be short on hours, so when it comes to down time I prefer to spend it at home with my family or in the company of my closest friends. It is always wonderful to have a solid support system and those that genuinely care.

However, there are times when one just wants to be alone, in such cases there are a few places/activities that I find myself doing. Since I've received quite a few requests for my favorite "alone-time" activities, I've decided to share my favorite eight...
Under the Weather…
Hello Darlings,
Despite the beautiful fall weather, I am feeling quite under the weather with sniffles and the whole shazam
But I am back with a quick outfit post from this Friday. Despite a fun weekend of shopping, dinners, lunches, and birthdays with my girlies... I had zero luck in the shopping department. After a Saturday afternoon of shopping, I came home with only a book :S. However, I was quite excited to get my hands on the new Nina Garcia book, Look Book: What to Wear for Every Occasion. Which is quite informative and always super fun to read!
Another great piece of information that I wanted to share was this awesome list of stores and services in Toronto that are recommended by Jeanne Beker. For those who are not familiar, Jeanne Beker is a host of Fashion Television and is one of the most iconic and influential women in the fashion industry in Canada and around the world. It's definitely worth checking out

Hello Darlings,
Toronto International Film Festival is well underway and downtown Toronto is swarmed with celebs, paparazzi, people and celebrity stalkers
Despite a fact that I despise hassles and bustles of busy places, I tend to quite enjoy lively atmosphere that surrounds the city during this time of the year.Luckily, I was invited to Stella Artois Film Screening at The Drake Hotel to celebrate the opening of TIFF. Thank you Noor!
I had the pleasure of spending the day with one of my besties, Anna....
