Hello Darlings, Between the travel and work responsibilities, finding balance to maintain a healthy lifestyle while investing in relationships with friends and family can be a fine line between mayhem and perfection. It’s an ongoing balancing act that requires continuous effort. However after all, good things in life do not come easy and require work. Hello Darlings, As we shed our parkas and boots, it’s time to get planning that spring wardrobe! For anyone who’s been battling with winter hibernation, this time of the year is as exciting as it gets. While I do enjoy fashions of all seasons, there’s only so many ways that a girl can rock a coat or a parka. As Friday marked the official first day of spring, I’m ready to shed the winter layers and embrace the glorious season of skirts and no pantyhose.

Transition into Spring

While the weather is still somewhat indecisive in its choice of sunshine or snow, this grey Wilfred coat from Aritzia has become the perfect transition item that is ideal over light layering pieces. In fact these images were shot for Fashion Magazines feature on coats as a statement piece. As we bid farewell to winter and the sun slowly decided to grace up with its presence that’s when I am obsessively looking to add new transition items that will work from colder to warmer weather.

Hello Darlings, With a new year comes an opportunity for a new start. It’s not really as if at a strike of midnight our mindframe changes and we magically set out on a different path. Instead, the new year is a starting point that makes us feel encouraged. While I am not the one to particularly believe in resolutions, I do believe that every woman has the opportunity to set forward a change at any given moment. Really nothing else is standing in our way, aside from us? Not as if that midnight call is going to change you as an individual but what it does is give new hope.

So with that hope, comes the drive that we need in succeeding at change. For me change comes from the way I feel about myself as an individual. Having have faced some difficult and testing times that left me feeling at my lowest, I’ve also experienced the opposed — the deluded type of confidence and feeling of being on top of the world. Either side of the spectrum is drastic but finding that balance is what takes the most work. Finding a balance of ensuring that you’re not becoming a disappointing individual when facing success and also not feeling a mess when facing failure. Everything in moderation and that comes with control. Both success and failure change an individual and typically in the worst way.
