Hello Darlings, Every woman has her wardrobe classics that she turns to when facing a wardrobe dilemma. Of course over years fashion has dictated what those classics are and how we should define them. I do agree that certain items are timeless and should be found in certain wardrobes, I do however find that not all of them apply towards needs of every woman. As every woman is unique as should the list of her classics be.

This week as I was highlighting some of my spring #FaveFinds for Sherway Gardens, I realized that many of them were some of my favorite wardrobe staples but updated with a new twist. Whether it is be a new texture, cut, or embellishment it is nothing to feel guilty over. I’ve done that for a long time!I felt guilty for buying an item that felt similar to the one that I owned. A classic is a classic and it belongs in your wardrobe. Girl, if you love it then go for it!

Hello Darlings, Few weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening of Canada’s first stand alone Jimmy Choo boutique. Thankfully within the past few years American retail giants and sought after designers have made their way across border and have blessed us with a wider selection of fashion goodies. I will always be a supporter of Canadian retailers foremost however it is always wonderful to have more choices. After all, it is a woman’s nature to want to have more!

Founded in 1996 by couture shoe designer Jimmy Choo and Vogue accessories editor Tamara Mellon, the Jimmy Choo was favorite of Princess Diana. The design direction is overseen by Creative Director Sandra Choi, who’s the niece of Choo’s wife. Sandra’s vision is to create one of world’s most treasured luxury brands. The 198 square meter store, located in Yorkdale Shopping Centre reflects the new global store concept designed with the London-based David Collins Studio and is true to Choo aesthetic.

There’s something easy and effortless about all of their pieces. They come with no hassle, just a beautiful fit. While browsing I spotted a piece that not only looked terrible on a hanger but I also wasn’t quite sure as to what it was — maybe a dress, maybe a shirt or even a tunic!?
