The past week was my first full-on foray into the world of furniture shopping and decorating, and after visiting about a dozen stores I’ve yet to make my first purchase – and have come to appreciate how similar of a task it is to shopping for a designer purse.
Hello Darlings, American retailer Target has been making a big splash in Canada’s two biggest cities sponsoring and hosting events at Montreal Fashion Week and Toronto International Film Festival. People who know the brand keep raving to me about how fabulous is Target - humorously pronounced “Tar-Jay” as if somehow a French sounding name elevates it’s image. Although I haven’t ever shopped at Target, I am impressed with their values and how they position their brand.
Hello Darlings, With every fashion week, there are inevitably highs and lows. And with every eye of the fashion industry insiders focused and quick to judge, there really is no way for a weak link to hide. So while most designers impressed me, naturally I also had a least favorite collection during my Montreal Fashion Week experience.
